A little about me...
My love of drawing and creating started early—according to my mother, from the highchair, where I drew my first pair of glasses in perfect perspective. From that moment on, my parents became my biggest fans, encouraging every artistic pursuit. By middle school, when I first learned about commercial art (now called graphic design), I knew I had found my path.
I also come by my love of paper honestly. My late uncle, who was VP of Southeast Sales for a large paper company, would gift me boxes of samples—colors, textures, finishes, sheens. To most kids they were scraps, but to me they were treasure. That’s where my fascination with all things paper began, and it’s a passion that continues to inspire my work today.
For more than 36 years, I’ve worked as a graphic designer and art director in pre-press and design, creating compelling visuals that balance beauty and function. But my creativity doesn’t stop at the screen. I also design and craft physical pieces: laser-cut jewelry, personalized cutting boards, paper flower art, monoprints, eco prints, greeting cards, and more. I love exploring unique materials like exotic hardwoods—purpleheart, wenge, padauk—and transforming them into thoughtful, one-of-a-kind pieces.
Thanks to a local boutique’s interest, I’ve happily returned to enamel jewelry. I also engage in freelance graphic design, card making, diverse art mediums, and laser engraving/cutting, combining professional expertise with a passion for tactile, handmade creations.
Creating—whether for clients, friends, or my own joy—has always been at the core of who I am.
