Botanical Monoprints
A monoprint is a form of printmaking in which an image is made from a smooth surface or 'plate', such as a sheet of glass, metal or gelatin, that is coated in printing ink or paint. In contrast with other printing techniques only one final, unique (pulled print) is made.

I use acrylic paints and plants from the area where I live. Some I know what they are, others I have no idea.
I'm sure some are just weeds that are pretty and have interesting shape to me.

Here are some of my acrylic botanical monoprints.
